These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Voltedge Drive.
By placing a booking through our website, you agree to the terms set out below.
- About Us
Voltedge Drive is a same day electric courier service operating across South Wales.
We provide business-to-business delivery services within Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend and Barry.
All bookings are processed online through our website.
- Our Services
We provide same day and pre-scheduled regional delivery of business consignments.
Collections placed during operating hours are scheduled within two hours, subject to traffic conditions, distance and availability.
We operate during the following hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
Sunday: Closed
Extended hours access is available to Voltedge Pro members, subject to availability.
- Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made through our online booking system.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A booking confirmation will be issued electronically once payment has been received.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings where necessary for operational reasons.
- Cancellations
Cancellations made before collection will be eligible for a refund.
If cancellation occurs after the driver has been dispatched, a charge may apply.
If collection has already taken place, the full service fee remains payable.
- Service Area
Our services operate exclusively within defined South Wales zones.
We do not provide nationwide delivery or international shipping.
- Items We Do Not Carry
We do not transport:
- Illegal goods
- Hazardous materials
- Explosives or flammable substances
- Perishable goods requiring temperature control
- Cash or negotiable instruments
- Firearms or controlled weapons
- Packaging
The sender is responsible for ensuring all items are appropriately packaged for safe transport.
We are not liable for damage caused by insufficient or inadequate packaging.
- Liability
We operate with Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance.
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the level of cover provided under our Goods in Transit policy.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profit
- Loss arising from delays outside our reasonable control
- Delays
While we aim to deliver within agreed timeframes, we are not liable for delays caused by:
- Traffic conditions
- Road closures
- Weather conditions
- Mechanical breakdown
- Events outside our reasonable control
- Proof of Delivery
Digital confirmation and signature capture will be provided upon completion of delivery.
It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that recipient details are accurate at the time of booking.
- Voltedge Pro Membership
Voltedge Pro membership is subject to separate membership terms.
Benefits including discounted rates and extended access are subject to availability and operational capacity.
Membership does not guarantee availability during peak demand periods.
We reserve the right to amend membership terms with reasonable notice.
- Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
